Connect your own AI to your restaurant.

Connect Claude, ChatGPT or Cursor to Genu once; ask about your sales and stock and edit your menu from there. The connection uses OAuth with your Genu account, no key copying needed.

How to connect

MCP

Run Genu from ChatGPT, Claude or Cursor.

Genu provides an MCP server. Connect the AI client you use once; ask about your menu, sales and stock there, and edit your menu from there.

    Open connections in the panel

    app.genu.tr → MCP. “Connect to Claude” or “Connect to ChatGPT” copies the address and opens the connector page.

    Paste the address

    Add a new connector in your client and paste the Genu address. Key-based connection is available for Cursor and other clients.

    Choose branch and permission

    On Genu's consent screen choose a single branch or “All branches” and the write mode. Disconnect from the panel at any time.

Tools

Seven general tools, capabilities per connection.

The tool list is fixed; the AI learns what a connection can read or change through genu_describe. There is no raw SQL, and every read and write is permission-checked.

  • genu_status

    Connection status: which venue or branches, read-only or not, which permissions.

  • genu_describe

    Readable resources and runnable actions, with field lists and JSON schemas.

  • genu_query

    Reads rows from a resource: equality and range filters, sorting, pagination.

  • genu_run

    Runs an action: item, price, sold out/available, category. In approval mode the change waits for your approval in Genu.

  • genu_plan

    Runs a multi-step or bulk change as one plan (e.g. create a category and add items to it, raise a category's prices by a percentage). The plan is tried against the real code first; if any step fails, nothing is written.

  • genu_pending

    Lists actions waiting for approval and their approval links.

  • genu_logs

    The venue's activity log: menu and settings changes, AI actions; who changed what, from which old value to which new one.

Security and approval

You stay in control.

  • The connection uses OAuth with your Genu account; disconnect from the panel at any time.
  • Single-branch connection, or “All branches” for owners and admins; permissions are re-checked on every call.
  • Write mode per connection: apply directly or approve in Genu. Critical actions always require approval.
  • Every change is written to the audit log under the approver's name; removed items can be restored from Trash.
  • Guest personal data never enters the connection's context; WhatsApp data never enters any AI surface.
  • MCP calls run on your own AI subscription and don't use your Genu AI credits.
