Waiter Call System — From the QR Menu
Waiter call is Genu's feature that lets guests call a waiter or ask for the bill from the QR menu at their table; no separate call-button device is needed on the table. The guest scans the QR code and taps the call button in the menu; the request reaches the waiter terminal as a notification together with the table number. On the waiter terminal the table card shows the call, and the waiter handles it and closes it. A bill request changes the table's status and is visible at the till as well. Repeated unnecessary calls are blocked with a cooldown. The call button sits on the same page as the QR menu and table ordering; guests don't download an app or sign up. When you split tables into areas and assign waiters to areas, the call reaches the waiter for that area. Waiter call is available on Premium and above.
