Order Ready Screen for the Dining-Room TV
The order ready screen is Genu's display that shows pickup, delivery and counter orders on the dining-room TV in two lists, “Preparing” and “Ready”; it runs at ekran.genu.tr. An order entered at the till or on the waiter terminal appears under Preparing, and when the kitchen marks it ready, the code moves to Ready. Guests see where their order is without asking at the counter. No personal data such as the guest's name or phone number is shown — only the order code. The screen is opened once in the browser of a smart TV, a computer connected to the TV or a tablet, and it updates on its own; nothing to install. In cafés, fast food, bakeries and busy takeaway venues, it thins out the crowd at the counter and the “is mine ready?” questions, and the team no longer has to call out order numbers.
