Delivery, Pickup and Counter Sales
Delivery and pickup are sales channels in Genu POS that open without choosing a table; together with counter sales they run on the same screen as table service. Delivery checks are tracked with the day's sequence number, and the customer's name, phone and delivery address are saved with the order. The same item can have different prices for table, pickup, delivery and counter; a packaging fee and a discount can be added to delivery orders. Kitchen tickets go to the right station's printer and the kitchen display, with a large order number on the ticket. At the counter, the Cash and Card buttons take payment in one tap. Orders being prepared and ready orders are shown by code on the dining-room order ready screen, with no personal data. When the internet drops, a till with Genu Desktop keeps selling delivery, pickup and counter orders. Delivery and pickup are part of the Pro plan. Guests can also order without a table from the menu: pickup and delivery orders land in the till's Online tab with no per-order commission; see Pickup and Delivery Orders from the Menu for details. A customer who confirms an order but never collects it is marked 'No-show' at the till; once the count reaches the venue's limit (default 2) they can no longer order remotely from that venue but can still order at the table.

Frequently asked questions
Can delivery prices differ from table prices?
Yes. Each item can have separate table, pickup, delivery and counter prices, and the till applies the right one for the channel.
How do I tell delivery orders apart?
By sequence number. Every delivery check gets the day's sequence number, printed large on the ticket and used to track it at the till.
Can I sell quickly at the counter?
Yes. Counter sales don't need a table; payment is taken in one tap with the Cash or Card button.
Can I add a packaging fee?
Yes. A packaging fee is defined and added to delivery orders.
Is there a commission on pickup orders from the menu?
No. There is no per-order commission; the order lands in the till's Online tab and payment is made to the venue on delivery or at pickup.
