Commission-Free Pickup and Delivery Orders

With Genu a guest can order for pickup or delivery from the QR menu without being at a table. The venue switches the two channels on separately, sets a minimum basket and a delivery fee, and can give items a separate pickup and delivery price. Orders are accepted only during the venue's opening hours; outside them the guest sees the opening time. The guest signs in with WhatsApp and confirms the order within 10 minutes, either in the menu or with the button in the WhatsApp message; if they do not, the order is cancelled and never reaches the venue. A confirmed order lands in the till's Online tab for staff approval; approval, ready, on-the-way and delivered steps are shown to the guest on a live screen and sent as WhatsApp messages. The delivery fee is added to the bill. Payment is made to the venue on delivery or at pickup, and Genu takes no per-order commission. A customer who confirms an order but never collects it is marked 'No-show' at the till; once the count reaches the venue's limit (default 2) they can no longer order remotely from that venue, while ordering at the table still works. A manager can also close remote ordering for a specific phone number. These records belong to that venue only. The Online tab is part of the till screen in the Pro plan.
