Student Discount — e-Devlet Verified
In Genu the student discount is applied from the menu, with no ID card shown at the table. The guest signs in with WhatsApp and enters the barcode of their e-Devlet student certificate; the certificate file itself is not sent to Genu. Verification stays valid until the end of the term (15 March or 15 October) and is then renewed. The national ID number taken for verification is deleted the moment the decision is made. The venue sets either a menu-wide percentage (0-50) or a fixed student price per item, and can exclude any items. A verified student sees the student price in the menu and the discount is applied to the order automatically. It does not stack with Happy Hour: whichever is lower at that moment applies.

Frequently asked questions
Is the student's national ID number stored?

How long does student verification last?
Until the end of the term: the next 15 March or 15 October. After that the student renews the certificate.
Does the student discount apply to every item?
The venue decides. It sets a menu-wide percentage or a per-item student price and can exclude items.
Does it combine with Happy Hour?
No. The two do not stack; the lower price at that moment applies.
